Great local market! I grew up just up the hill above Kaiser and I come back to this store whenever in town even since I've moved to Vacaville.
Friendly service and great quality sandwiches. A little pricy but the freshness and portions are worth it. The rest of the store offers a large variety of foods not often readily available at other markets. Our 'go to' market for hard to find items.
This is absolutely a hidden gem. Great sandwiches they use the best quality of ingredients. When I'm in the mood for a sandwich this is my go to spot. They also have an outstanding meat market selection. You can find hog head cheese, neck bones, smoked turkey, links, pork chops, chicken wings are some of the options you'll find. You can find some seasonings you may need for Sunday dinner. You'll also find old school treats and nostalgic candy. The people are so friendly. Always so accommodating.

Food Basket is awesome! Great place to get a sandwich. They have a little order slip, so you check off everything you want. This means you get the exact sandwich you ordered. Smoked gouda or havarti are my go to cheeses. There is a great selection of New Orleans ingredients in this market. I also really like the meat counter. They ground their beef daily and it tastes that way. Customer service is friendly.
Had a hankering for a pastrami sandwich on rye bread. Haven't been in the store in about a year. They have really cleaned up and organized the store better. If you are looking for ANYTHING CAJUN this is the place to go. Now, back to my sandwich. I do not like all the veggies on my pastrami. Yellow mustard and dill pickle slices, that's it. Sandwich was VERY good. I have to stop forgetting about this deli and store. Meat counter is new. Product looks really good.
